Demonstration of DGPS/EGNOS on Inland Waterways "DESIW" on Great Masurian Lakes is organised by University of Warmia and Mazury in Olsztyn (PL) and ESYS plc (UK) to be held in Mrągowo, Poland 0n 24-26 October 2005. The workshop will be hosted by The Chair of Satellite Geodesy and Navigation - UWM in Olsztyn, in cooperation with Helios Technologies Ltd, Galileo Information Point at the Space Research Centre, Police Academy in Szczytno, Polish Navigation Forum, Polkomtel S.A. and Biatel S.A.

Mrągowo is located in north - east Poland, 220 km from Warsaw. It is situated in one of the most beautiful regions in Poland, the region famous for its long history as well as unbelievably charming glacial landscapes, the large concentration of lakes, including Great Masurian Lakes, and forest complexes.
